National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage rates (from 1st April 2017)

On the 1 April 2017 the National Living Wage (NLW) and the National Minimum Wage (NMW) increased.

Here’s what you need to pay your staff as a minimum per hour:

National Living Wage (25+) £7.50
Adult rate (21-24)£7.05
Young adult (18-20)£5.60
16-17 year old£4.05
Apprentice rate£3.50
